Nordic Foods, Inc. conceived and opened in 1980 by three principals with years of experience in the meat industry. Now owned and operated by the second generation, Ted Jovanovic & Jason Hall, sons of the remaining two principals. This new generation has changed the business to meet the needs of an ever-changing industry.

Safe Quality Food is a high priority. Over the years, we have added several different lines producing a variety of products. The goal of our business is to manufacture Safe Quality Food products, (raw, solid, chopped and formed, breaded and unbreaded) in sufficient quantities to continuously satisfy customers and to support the employees and families involved in the business.
Over time, Nordic has achieved some measure of success in meeting it’s goals and is now operating from it’s third location, a 47,000 square foot facility designed to support it’s unique manufacturing requirements.
Much of Nordic’s business has evolved in assisting primarily institutional customers develop products with certain characteristics to fill particular needs. Some products are proprietary in nature and/or under private label and are shipped to food service distributors around the country.
With the second generation of family members operating the business, we expect to attain future growth as we have in the past, by exploring new manufacturing techniques, maintaining high sanitation, quality and production controls in order to turn out the most consistent, reasonably priced products possible and deliver them in a timely way.
